AN interactive EXPERIENCE that lets everyone “be in the band.”
The Aurora platform was used by experience designer Marty Peck to power the 2019 IES Lighting Control Innovation Award-winning Drum Organ. The organ-like sculpture includes four keyboards where players can activate musical notes and dynamic colourful lighting responses. This playful, collaborative, multisensory experience premiered at Summerfest, often referred to as the world’s largest music festival, as it attracts over 900,000 people. The Drum Organ is now a permanent fixture on the festival grounds.
